- What do I bring/wear to pilates?
- Wear comfortable clothing, ideally non restrictive gym wear and pilates is done in stocking feet. We provide all the equipment.
- What age group is Pilates for?
- Pilates can be beneficial for all ages. All pilates exercises can be adapted and customised for the individual.
- Will Pilates help me lose weight?
- Pilates is not a cardiovascular workout in the beginning, however, in conjunction with some cardio work pilates will compliment your workout regime very well. It is a form of exercise designed to define muscles and tone the body.
- Would you recommend Pilates for Back Pain?
- Yes, Pilates is designed to help strengthen the back muscles and overcome back pain. The exercises focus on developing core strength and this stabilizes and strengthens the entire body.
- Can I do Pilates if I’m pregnant?
- You can participate in Pilates in the Second and Third Trimester of your pregnancy. At the studio in Ranelagh we offer pre natal pilates classes.
